Darning Newham is project created by Newham-based textile artists Katie May Anderson and Memunatu Barrie.The project seeks to translate the borough’s heritage through textiles to shed light on untold stories, especially those of women. Darning Newham provides textile resources and runs creative workshops, as well as collaborating with the NewVIc Art and Design department.
