Grab your camera or phone and join photographer Sylvie Belbouab as she guides you, following the river Lea to discover the seven gasholders in Twelvetrees Crescent and the Gaslight and Coke company memorial garden.

In this face-to-face workshop, which is suitable for adults and young participants aged 14+, you will explore the history and heritage of the factories that once resided at Cody Dock, Canning Town.

You’ll learn about the rich industrial past of the area during the walk and how it merges with modern buildings and factories, providing an excellent opportunity to practice “urbanscape” photography.

You will be sent details of a meeting point at Cody Dock before the event.  Just register for free below.

Covid-19 safety measures will be in place at this face-to-face photography workshop. Masks must be worn (indoors) and social distancing will be observed, one-way systems will be in place at the venue. You must not attend if you show symptoms of Covid-19 and must self-isolate in line with current government guidance at the time of the event.
