About Young Producers at Rosetta Arts

Over the past 2 years, a group of dedicated young people between 10-18 years old have been meeting and learning about how to be creative producers with Rosetta Arts. Before lock down in 2020 they met regularly and ate pizza whilst learning skills and sharing ideas of what heritage means to them creating events, producing the events and evaluating their success.  Building on their confidence, in 2021 the Young Producers were back and have supported 4 great new events with support from Rosetta Arts.

They had to come up with a brief, read applications and eventually decide how to spend a budget on commissioning artist-led creative ideas for Newham Heritage Month.

All events were developed with younger audiences in mind.
