Breaking Down Barriers in Newham

To celebrate ten years since the London 2012 Olympics, join us for an event that uncovers the role that sports has played in the lives of Newham’s South Asian and Caribbean communities.

Through discussion and an exhibition, we’ll show how sports brought different communities and age groups together, and share the challenges and opportunities of pre and post Olympics Newham while discussing the experiences of discrimination that Black and Asian commuinities faced.
