About Subco Trust

Many of the Subco service users left their homeland to settle in the UK for different reasons. They share memories of how Newham has transformed to become a more diverse and vibrant place to live. Their wealth of knowledge and experience regarding heritage is demonstrated in their willingness to share experiences, talk about the challenges and discrimination they faced including how they broke down barriers, stigma, stereotypes, and the impact sport has played in relation to individuals and brought Black and Asian communities together.
