Inspired by the East End Women’s Museum walking trails that feature the women of Newham, Katie – an award-winning London history blogger and Blue Badge Tourist Guide from Look Up London – will take us on interactive virtual tours of Canning Town (Friday 28 May) and Silvertown (Sunday 30 May).

These virtual tours are for those who want to get to know their home better, as well as travellers who want to get under the skin of Newham. Forget online talks with Powerpoint, this virtual tour will leave you feeling like you’ve actually walked through the streets of Canning Town and Silvertown. Using high definition video, images, google street view and live commentary, Katie will show you the hidden gems and off the beaten track delights that this city has to offer!

  • Friday 28 May: Virtual Tour of Canning Town, 19:00
  • Sunday 30 May: Virtual Tour of Silvertown, 19:00

Suitable for all abilities and age 8+ years.
