“Straight from the Horse’s Mouth – Ruminations on Newham City Farm” is an exhibition which aims to document highlights, snapshots and memories gathered from research and contributors with a connection to Newham City Farm and Plashet Zoo ranging from employees, farm and conservation volunteers, representatives from organisations involved in developing the farm and leading visits to the farm, families and individuals across three generations.
The exhibition will include:
Saturday 20 September 2025, 3 – 5pm: exhibition launch. The event will include the opportunity for interaction with and between contributors and to explore the exhibition. Refreshments provided. Please book a free ticket in order to attend.
Monday 22 – Saturday 27 September 2025, library opening hours (when Rotunda is not being used for classes): exhibition on view. No tickets required.

Accessibility:Beckton Globe Rotunda is accessible by lift on the first floor of Beckton Globe Library.
There is disabled badge parking in the Globe car park.
There is on street free parking on Saturdays and local short-term parking at Asda.
It is easily accessible by public transport, close to Beckton DLR and Bus Stations and there is a bus stop at St Mark’s on Tollgate Road.
