Best of Newham: Exhibition

For one weekend only, catch The New Curators Project’s latest exhibition, The Best of Newham, at Beckon Globe Library.  The exhibition is inspired by Newham’s history of creativity, activism and community spirit and it was created by local young adults.

The New Curators Project is a collaboration between Newham Heritage Month and University College London (UCL) Special Collections.  Each year, UCL Special Collections offer ten bursary supported places for local 18-24 year olds who are interested in working in the cultural heritage sector. They create an exhibition for Newham Heritage Month, receive training and meet professionals in the field over the course of four months.  This year, the project celebrates its fifth birthday!
