Re-imagining Madge Gill: Embroidery Workshop Series (online)

Thursday 20 May 2021, 11am - 1.30pm

Weekly online workshops open to those with an interest in textiles or drawing and finding out more about fascinating local artist Madge Gill .

Free and open to all to attend, aimed at ages 8+ with adult supervision.

Through the teachings of former Newham resident and self-taught visionary artist, Madge Gill (1881-1961), we would love you to explore your creative drive, and supernatural talent.

There are a very limited numbers of people attending these workshops in person at a socially distanced sewing circle at Little Ilford Baptist Church.  Please contact ELTA directly eastlondontextilearts@gmail.com if you are interested in coming along in person.

The works created will be exhibited in an outdoor exhibition at Little Ilford Baptist Church on Saturday 22 May.
