Act Up! Newham inclusive theatre company takes you on a theatrical journey to look at how Newham became famous across the world for its inclusive education policies.

As part of Newham Heritage month, Act Up have interviewed former disabled students, councillors, and parents in order to present an overview of this important part of Newham history from the perspective of local disabled people.

Come and enjoy a night of theatre, stories and history and learn about how the birth of one baby with Down’s syndrome, and the idea that she should be included in pretty much everything, opened up Newham’s schools to disabled students.
