The Seagull brothers grew up in East Ham. All four brothers went to secondary school in Newham, studied at Oxbridge and still live in Newham.
Bobby Seagull teaches maths at Little Ilford School, co-presents The Monkman and Seagull Genius Adventures on BBC2, he wrote The Life-Changing Magic of Numbers and regularly contributes to both the Financial Times and Radio Four’s Today programme with his maths puzzles. He is a life-long West Ham football fan.
Tommy was Deputy Young Mayor in Newham, a Sixth Form Scholar at Eton College and the UK School’s Debating Champion. He studied Politics, Philosophy & Economics at Oxford University and was “Called to the Bar” as a barrister. He currently works at the Infected Blood Inquiry.
