The closing day of Newham Heritage Month and we are pleased to welcome Onjali to close our festival with her question and answer session with Park Primary school children from her home in Newham.

Onjali Q. Raúf is a Newham-based award-winning children’s author and founder of two NGO’s called O’s Refugee Aid Team and Making Herstory.
Onjali grew up in Newham after moving to the area aged 9 years old, attending Nelson Primary School and Langdon Secondary School (now Langdon Academy), as well as regularly using East Ham Library.
