Painting Newham: Family Mural Workshop
Come and learn how to create a colourful mural inspired by your local streets and buildings with artist Will Redgrove. Get the whole family involved in this free family workshop.
Will Redgrove is the artist behind the mural just installed at Hartley Primary School in East Ham. A project that involved 120 students, the whole of Yr 4. Led by Will, the students researched, developed and designed the mural which was painted over the school holidays.
Join Will at the Poetry House and help him design another painting. Learn what goes into developing a mural and have some fun with experimenting with a variey of methods used to paint our streets!
How to Attend
This workshop is free for families – You can drop- in at any time between 1-4pm but you must book tickets in advance
