Join us at the official launch party for the Newham Dictionary of Culture podcast.
We’ll be celebrating the work of our brilliant group of young podcasters based at Links Studios in Canning Town.
As podcast hosts and curators all aged between 11-19, they interviewed a stellar line up of local rappers, DJs, chefs, language teachers, tattoo artists, drummers and other creatives to talk about what culture meant in their lives.
Come and celebrate everyone who has featured in the series, hear from the podcasters and have a listen to the first episodes.
Refreshments are available at the event; please let us know if you have any food allergies.
This project was made possible by Culture Within Newham, the Arts Council-funded Creative People and Places programme for Newham, alongside funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Royal Docks Team.
Please join us for this live and in-person event at Community Links, 105 Barking Road, London E16 4HQ.
