Abbey Gardens Community Garden

Abbey Gardens is a public space on the site of Stratford Langthorne gatehouse ruins which are still visible today. Abbey Gardens is open daily from dawn till dusk.

It is a community-run shared harvest garden maintained by volunteers.  Spring Cafe runs a healthy and sustainable food and drink offer in the warmer months. The Garden provides opportunities for teaching food growing and gardening skills whilst also providing locally grown produce.

The Garden promotes well-being and fosters community spirit, through volunteering and running accessible cultural, heritage and well-being activities.
