Michael Salmon was a farm employee for 35 years from the early 1980s soon after LB Newham took the farm over from the Mayflower Centre. He was already there when Theresa arrived in 1994 and became Manager in 1995. They met there and subsequently married and the farm was the centre of their famly, home and work and life for more than three decades.
But several employees, volunteers and even visitors, especially carers and people with Special Needs have described how the farm was like a home to them and how they felt cared for as part of a family. They speak very highly and fondly of their colleagues and staff and particularly of Theresa and Michael.
