Mani Kohli – Khubsoorat Collection

Mani Kohli established her business Khubsoorat Collection and her first store on Plashet Grove, off Green street in 1985, eventually moving to her flagship store on 104 Green street in 2005.  Now a leading international fashion designer, Mani is famous for her ethnic fusion designs specialising in bespoke Bridal and evening wear. Mani was based in Green street for 30 years until she left 5 years ago to set up her new store in south Woodford. The legacy also continues with both her children, Geetanjali Singh and Saran Kohli, both becoming fashion designers. Mani Kohli shares her story above.

Mani Kohli set up her first fashion store, Khubsoorat Collection in Plashet Grove, off Green Street in Newham in 1985 and later moved to her flagship store on 104 Green Street in 2005.  Now a leading international designer Mani is famous for her ethnic fusion designs and specialises in bespoke Bridal & Evening wear, including dressing celebrities for the red carpet. She had a huge impact on the growth of Green Street, which is now one of the most thriving Asian shopping areas in the UK. Mani Kohli was based in Green Street for 30 years until she left 5 years ago to set up her new store in south Woodford.
