In 2012, locally based disabled artists and other Newham residents came together with the UK Disabled People’s Council to create a series of events and activities celebrating the London 2012 Paralympics.
Following the success of the Together! 2012 Festival, Together! 2012 CIC was founded to create a Paralympic cultural legacy in east London and beyond.
Since then, Together! 2012 CIC has delivered more than 2012 free creative activities, including free arts workshops for disabled people, and free performances, exhibitions and screenings by disabled artists.
