Our Olympic Dream Lives On – Reminiscence Workshop

In 2008, Beijing hosted its first ever Olympic and Paralympic Games. This was followed by the 2012 Games held in London.

The slogan for the Beijing Games was “One World, One Dream”, whilst that for the London Games was “Inspire a Generation”.

What did London 2012 achieve and what were the legacies left for London and in particular, Newham, in the eyes of the local people?

Chinese and Vietnamese, as well as English, will be used for workshop discussions, where you will meet new friends and learn more about our multi-ethnic borough and its diverse cultures.
