From Scanner to Screen is a nostalgic look at factory life in the docks from a local community perspective, created by The Royal Docks Learning & Activity Centre, who have been diving into the past to restore images for vibrant collages in motion, full of history.

The event will start at 6.30pm with an online interview Live on Facebook with the authors of the Book “The Sugar Girls”, Duncan Barrett and Nuala Calvi. “The Sugar Girls” book is a collection of tales of hardship, love and friendship in Tate & Lyle’s East End. If you tune in to watch the online interview LIVE you will be able to participate with your comments and questions to the authors, so get your questions ready!

The interview will be followed by an online screening of a collection of memories and rejuvenated photos from Tate & Lyle Factory in Royal Docks, premiering at 7.30pm
