In this arts and crafts workshop we will be decorating our own container. Using drawing, writing and collage, we will transform an empty container into a memory box that displays your individual heritage, culture and memories.
You can use it to put things in that you would like to remember in the future! The container can be a recycled jar, takeaway box, egg box or any other unused container.
This is a zoom workshop directed by the Youth Development Worker, Hazel Brill, at Disability arts organisation Together 2012 CIC. This is aimed at young Disabled people who are based in Newham and have a passion for arts and crafts but it is open to anyone!
Hazel Brill is a Newham based visual artist.
Newham Heritage Month is an exciting heritage festival running throughout September.
