Local artist Dr Georgia Haseldine will show you how to make two historic eighteenth-century Bow Porcelain Factory clay recipes and create test tiles inspired by pieces now in the collection of London borough of Newham . You will also learn how to shape porcelain using press moulds based on historic artefacts.
Through this hands-on workshop we will also consider how the archaeological finds discovered before the London Olympics can help us think about circular economies and sustainable design futures.
