Welcome to FULL CYCLE, exploring the places & spaces of Forest Gate’s unique cycling heritage, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Join us for a lively presentation to find out why Forest Gate was London’s cycling epicenter at the turn of 19th century and take part in an accompanying creative workshop.
There will also be an opportunity to share your local cycling stories, with us and UCL’s Memory Bike later that day between 1.30- 3.30pm at Woodgrange Market E7 ONQ, next to Newham Cyclists ‘Fix Your Ride’ stall.
Whatever your peddling predilection we would love to hear from you! Bring your favourite bike and cycle related memorabilia and share your local cycle stories for inclusion in the ‘Full Cycle’ Heritage QR Bike Trail which launches July 2024.
