A drop-in workshop will be led by Newham-based artist Lydia Thornley, to create a collaborative mural, seeking to document participants’ thoughts, memories and ideas relating to their understanding of the Cody Dock area and the River Lea. Words, drawings and new ideas will come together in an immediate response to the heritage workshops taking place, which explore the possibilities of creative engagement as a form of connection, conversation and reflection.
