About Volunteer Community Photographers

A group of Volunteer Community Photographers have been meeting  online and in person since March 2022 . Following on from the success of last year’s pilot scheme this year we have been able to develop the programme to include an exhibition  as part of  Newham Heritage Month.

Over the weeks, this group of nine volunteers, who include long-term Newham residents and those new to the area, have met with Creative Heritage Producer, Jan Cullen and local photographer, Keith Martin, to explore the heritage of the local area and learn new skills and techniques to photograph their environment and to connect with their neighbourhood.
