As a cultural documentarian focused on community heritage, I explore the stories and traditions of people in Newham. My project, Between Two Worlds, captures the diverse experiences, rich culture and journeys of Sri Lankan Tamil families who have made Newham their home. Through photography, film and oral history, my work seeks to celebrate shared identities and build a lasting digital legacy. By connecting generations and fostering cultural pride, I aim to contribute to Newham’s vibrant, multicultural landscape and ensure these voices are meaningfully represented for generations to come.
