About Matt Ponting

I live and work in Newham – Live in Beckton Park, and have a studio by the River Lea in Cody Dock. I’m an artist educator and make public artwork, maps and interpretation boards. I have worked on a number of projects with local community groups including at The Greenway, East Ham Nature Reserve, and Beckton Park. I’m also a National Park City volunteer ranger, advocating that Londoners use their green and blue spaces more.

I will produce a Reserve Celebration Day at East Ham Nature Reserve with exhibition and self guided walks. There will also be a walk in the lead up for those with memories of the reserve.
