About Elena Juzulenaite and Oliver Wallace
This Newham Heritage Month 2023 project is a collaboration of two east London based artists, Elena Juzulenaite and Oliver Wallace.
Elena has been interested in heritage for over 5 years and created four maps dedicated to various heritage topics in Newham. Elena is particularly interested in lesser known stories of working class and minority background people.
Oliver has a keen interest in how our heritage of stories plays a role in place-making, the rich tapestry of stories brought, found and newly made. He is also interested in the deep-time heritage of this landscape and the multi-species heritage of the area.
