East London Textile Arts (ELTA) is a Newham-based collective that runs weekly embroidery and weaving classes for diverse groups of all abilities including adults with learning disabilities.

For Newham Heritage Month 2023, ELTA will be creating artworks exploring the textile heritage of the borough, producing an oral history of textile makers in Newham, publishing a history of ELTA and organising a photoshoot to showcase ELTA costumes and designs.
