This event is a photography workshop inspired by portraiture, archival images and stories shared by the local community before and after 2012.

It will explore the four main approaches to portrait photography: Constructionist, Candid, Environmental, and Creative through practical demonstrations, and presentations.

Participants will learn how to ‘read’ images and how to create a photography project inspired by archival images and local history.

The workshop is suitable for anyone over 12 years old and will be led by local photographer, teacher and artist Hajia Dahiru and curator, educator and photographer Trisha McCauley.
