About Samuel Draper
I am a lifelong Newham resident, with memories of growing up using the local libraries, including Canning Town Old Library. I have a passion for writing, including fiction, like my degree in Imaginative Writing, and non-fiction. I am an NCTJ-trained journalist with experience in a range of fields. I have a passion for research and local history which has been instilled in me from a young age, and how the past plays into the future of the borough. My interests in research and storytelling have heightened my curiosity in Newham and its people.
