As a lifelong Newham resident, born and raised in the borough, I have a deep-rooted connection to its evolving history. From being christened at St. Margaret’s Church to now running my company Actively SeeK.I.N.G… CIC, Newham is very dear to me.
As a child I grew up in the infamous Ronan Point tower block that partially collapsed in 1968. The block no longer exists but this has truly inspired my interest in helping newer residents appreciate the rich heritage of our area including the transformation of the Royal Docks.
I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to preserving Newham’s collective memory.
