Custom House Our House

Between September 2024 and June 2025, photographers Inés Yearwood-Sanchez and Chris Dorley-Brown worked with artists from Royal College of Art and local residents to document the stories and lives of the Custom House community.

Inés Yearwood-Sanchez created portraits of oral history interviewees along with their favourite object, celebrating their identity, pride and agency through collaborative photography.

Chris Dorley-Brown captured streetscapes of Custom House, reflecting on its everyday beauty and the looming changes brought by regeneration.

Together, these works preserve sand honour a community in transition, foregrounding lived experience at a time of rapid urban change.

The exhibition has been extended and will be open to the public from 1st to 30th September, weekdays from 10 am
to 5pm. Group bookings are available from 16th to 30th September, also on weekdays between 10 am and 5pm. If
